World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Item upgrades provide players with the ability to upgrade their equipment that they already own. This can be done at any upgrader NPC.
Upgrades boost the stats of an item and add additional features based on the type of item. Examples include Whistan's shield for FB sorcs or Goldwrap for casting builds.

Utility Items
Utility items are products that do not fall under the categories of Clothing, Armor or Weapons and have various capabilities. Utility items are not compatible with each other, in contrast to Armor or Weapons. The majority of utility items have an effect that the player can activate when using them, but some have additional abilities that are activated when the user presses the button or activates an ability.
The Flashlight is the most common utilitarian item. It is used to illuminate the area around it.
